We Handle Elder Abuse Cases
There are about 15,000 nursing homes in the United States, with over 1.4 million inhabitants. These facilities are designed to offer comprehensive, compassionate care for adult family members who require live-in care or 24-hour monitoring. We want nursing homes to be a safe setting for aged and dependent persons, where we can trust that our loved ones will be treated with dignity and compassion while receiving the best possible care. Unfortunately, far too many nursing facilities fail to meet this standard. Nursing home neglect and abuse are considerably more common in the United States than we would like to believe. It's critical to recognize the indicators of elder/dependent adult abuse, to be diligent in spotting it, and to hold those who abuse the weak and vulnerable responsible.
